EVALUATIONS: Cost is $35 and will include a session with your dog on stock and in addition, a demonstration of training techniques.

GROUP LESSONS:  Wednesday evening classes will be limited to four dogs. Each dog will have two 10 to 15 minute sessions of training on stock, alternating with other dogs. Classes will last around two to three hours and you will be able to learn from watching the other dogs work while your dog is resting. I will also demonstrate with my dogs to further explain the exercises.  Cost is $35 per dog per week. Payment will be due in advance for the entire month, on the first lesson of each month and will guarantee your place in class for one month. If you cannot be present the first week of the month please put your check in the mail so that it will arrive by the end of the first week of the month. If for any reason you cannot attend class, please leave word on my recorder, if possible several days in advance or at the latest, by 4:00pm the day of your class.

PRIVATE LESSONS:  Private lessons are also available on Sunday mornings in either 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions.  Cost is $1 per minute.  Students MUST be on time for these lessons and MUST notify me one day in advance if they cannot come.  Payment will be due in advance for the entire month, on the first lesson of each month and will guarantee your place in class for one month.

If classes are cancelled by Beret Kennels due to hazardous weather conditions such as tornadoes, icy roads, or due to an out-of-town trial, a make-up class will be offered OR you will be given a credit. Otherwise, if you choose not to come, YOU ARE STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT.

Stockdog training is rewarding but hard work and must be one of your top priorities. Your dog will need a minimum of one lesson per week in order to progress. Bring your rain gear for the normal rainy evenings.

BOARDING AND TRAINING: Cost is $600 per month in advance.

DIRECTIONS: People coming from the north - take Hwy 290 east passing the towns of Hempstead and Prairie View. Once you get to Waller, exit on Kickapoo Rd. and go north for four miles. Turn right on Margerstadt Rd. and go .8 miles. Beret Farms is on the left just before the bridge. Coming from the east, take I-10 west to 610 loop north. From 610 loop, exit Hwy 290 west toward Austin. Pass the towns of Cypress and Hockley and exit Kickapoo road going north for 4 miles. Turn right on Margerstadt and go .8 miles. Beret Farms is on the left just before the bridge.
